Customized Solution: Finger Power Chuck Workholding Device (2J-08)

Enhancing Automation Efficiency and Tackling Irregular Workpiece Clamping Challenges
2022/09/01

In automated machining applications, traditional power chucks often face difficulties in securely clamping irregular workpieces.

To meet this demand, AUTOGRIP has developed the Finger Power Chuck Workholding Device (2J-08), designed in response to customer requirements for robotic loading and unloading.

The chuck grips the workpiece from the end face and applies a downward clamping motion. With its compensating jaw mechanism, it effectively adapts to irregular surfaces, ensuring stable clamping.

Equipped with air-tight pressure detection function, the chuck can continuously monitor the clamping status. If improper clamping, missing parts, or abnormalities occur, the system issues an immediate warning to prevent misprocessing and equipment damage.

This feature also reduces chip ingress, lowers maintenance needs, and ensures stable machining performance.

  • Compensating Mechanism: Overcomes the limitations of standard chucks, enabling secure clamping of irregular surfaces.
  • Air-tight pressure: Provides real-time monitoring of clamping status to ensure reliable operation.
  • High Reliability: Enhances machining stability and guarantees long-term quality.
